Days 1-3

Calgary to Banff

Fly into Calgary from the UK (we will include the flights), collect your car from Calgary Airport and set off for the mountains – Banff National Park beckons – just 90 minutes from the airport. Activities might include a cruise on Lake Minnewanka, heading up Banff Gondola for amazing almost 360 degree views, a walk along Lake Louise in the shadow of the Victoria Glacier, an evening horse or wagon ride with a BBQ or an exciting white water raft and many many more!

Days 4-5

Banff to Jasper

One of the most beautiful drives in the world today as you travel the Icefield Parkway to Jasper.  You can stop at several places along the way including the much photographed Peyto Lake and of course the Athabasca Glacier. We will include a Sno Coach tour onto the Glacier and also time on the Skywalk with superb views from the glass walkway.

Jasper itself is a lovely town and National Park. It’s recovering from a recent wildfire but is still a superb place to visit.  Head up Whistler mountain on the skytram for stunning views and an alpine hike then take a tour to Maligne Lake and a cruise along the scenic shores populated by towering peaks and roaming wildlife enroute to a spectacular overlook of Spirit Island.  There is fun family rafting to be had on the Athabasca River or maybe head out on a wildlife tour where you may come across a bear if you are lucky!

Days 6-7

Jasper to Clearwater

Wells Gray Provincial Park with its Helmcken Falls beckons you today. Stop off at Blue River on the way down to Clearwater for a hugely fun zodiac wildlife tour – see bald eagles and hopefully some bears. Helmcken Falls is higher than Niagara and is located in a beautiful park, with lots of wildlife and beautiful walks exploring the falls and beyond.

Days 8-9

Clearwater to Whistler

A day for an amazing drive along the Duffy Lake Road and then drop down into Whistler.  Known as a winter resort for the skiing, but it is no less a summer playground with a wealth of activities, very comfortable hotels, spas and some excellent retail therapy.  There are some amazing alpine hikes in Whistler and of course you must experience the record breaking Peak to Peak gondola that links Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain (World’s longest unsupported span for a lift of this kind).

Days 10-11

Whistler to Victoria

Another beautiful drive, this time with the Pacific Ocean in your sights as you descend to Horseshoe Bay and the ferry across to Vancouver Island where you will drive south along the Malahat Highway to Victoria. Victoria is a great location to head out on a whale watching trip.  The resident whales make it perfect at any time of year.  Victoria is also famed for its food scene so why not book on to a foodie tour to sample some of it menu.

Days 12-14

Victoria to Vancouver

Another ferry takes you back to the Mainland and a 50 minute drive into the wonderful city of Vancouver where you will drop your car.

Spend the next two days exploring Vancouver. Head out on a hop-on and hop-off city sightseeing tour that stops at 23 of Vancouver’s premier attractions, parks, gardens, galleries and restaurants.  Highlights include:  Gastown, Robson Street, English Bay, Granville Island, Stanley Park, totem poles, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden and many more.

Maybe take a tour over to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain or maybe a floatplane tour over the harbour and surrounding mountains.  Whatever you choose your holiday in Vancouver will be memorable.

After a few nights exploring this fantastic city you will fly back home to the UK as your dream Canada holiday comes to an end.
