A fly drive holiday taking in all the major sights of Western Canada: Vancouver, Banff and Jasper. The holiday can be taken in either direction; you will be able to see the Canadian Rocky Mountains, relax in the hot springs of Jasper and Banff and ride the tramway in Jasper.

This is one of the best routes you can take in Canada. Its very popular and provides a fantastic experience. I did this itinerary with my family (my children were 9 and 7 at the time) and it was one of the best family holidays ever. Highlights were the firework festival in Vancouver, zip-treking in Whistler, kayaking at Alpine Meadows in Clearwater and seeing bears from the chair lift in Banff.

Travel from Jasper to Banff via the Icefield Parkway, a stunning drive. Stop en route at the Athabasca Glacier for a guided Snowcoach trip onto the glacier. At the summit of Bow Pass is the path to the Peyto Lake overlook. Once in Banff enjoy all it has to offer; activities include hiking, horse riding, canoeing or golfing some world class courses.
