Just a short drive from Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton is the Rodd Miramichi River Resort. It is nestled on the banks of a river famed for its salmon and set in Miramichi’s historic Water Street business district. Although the scenery suits its ambience of a traditional New Brunswick lodge, there are all the amenities of a four star city hotel. The summer time activities include fishing, golf and exploring the nearby Kouchibouguac National Park Beach, whilst in winter the hotel prides itself on catering for snowmobiling enthusiasts with trails leading right up to the door. There are 80 guestrooms and suites, and four two-room king suites with their own whirlpool tub. Their décor follows the hotel’s lodge style of pine and warm colours, yet offers the expected modern amenities.
