This a lovely cluster of heritage buildings restored into a unique boutique property with guest rooms that have been beautifully furnished. Its in a great location in Charlottetown, within walking distance to the theatre, shopping and restaurants.

Loved PEI and in hindsight could have used an extra night there.Ā  The Great George was our favourite hotel (even without the very welcome upgrade to the Prime Minister's Suite which was amazing!!) - friendly and efficient, maintained a casual air without being overbearing.Ā  Quirky breakfasts and free wine/nibbles - what not to like?Ā  Enjoyed live music in town in the evenings too.

Really excellent hotel, they really went the extra mile to make your stay so inviting. Free coffee, cakes and biscuits available all day, free wine and beer at 5 o'clock each day. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms were idyllic. Chocolates left each evening as they turned your bedding. Lovely place lovely people.

Ideally situated to walk to all the places you would want to visit in the town, the waterfront was 2 minutes away the shops, theatre, buildings all about 5 minutes walk away.

Anne of Green Gables house and museum both about 35 minutes drive away
