Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge | Talkeetna, Alaska

Sitting on a ridge above the town, the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge provides magnificent views of the entire Alaska Range, with Denali (formerly called Mount McKinley) taking centre stage. While this spectacular view is the main draw of this property, with both restaurants, several rooms and a viewing deck all taking advantage of the panorama overlooking the Susitna River Valley to the mountains beyond, you can also enjoy the peace and quiet of this 35 acre property, giving a wilderness feel despite being minutes from the town.

Inside the main lodge, enjoy the 46-foot high river rock fireplace in the grand lobby, warm timber construction and a carefully curated selection of Native art. The award winning Foraker Dining Room offers fine dining complemented by the stunning view, popular with locals and visitors alike, while Base Camp Bistro offers more casual dining, with many Alaskan favourites on the menu.
