Lac a L’eau Claire | St Alexis des Monts, Quebec Province

Auberge Lac a l’eau Claire is perfectly situated in the hills between the cities of Montreal and Quebec City and is a splendid place to enjoy the Quebec countryside between the two cities during either the winter or summer. Wintertime brings dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoes and icefishing whilst in the summer you can choose all sorts of water sports on the lake as well as lovely country walks and bear viewing. The Auberge Lac a l’eau Claire is a member of the Quebec Hotelerie Champetre group of comfortable inns and has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Trout from the lake features heavily on the menu in the restaurant as do many of the local delicacies.

Rooms

Standard rooms are generously sized in the main building where you will also find the reception desk, dining room and games room. They have two double beds and overlook either the lake or the gardens. The Pavillion has some standard sized rooms with just one queen size bed. For a larger party there are some 2- and 3-bedroom condos as well as some 4- and 5- room cottages which come equipped with full kitchens.
