Chic Chocs Mountain Lodge (Auberge de montagne des Chic-Chocs) provides cosy and comfortable accommodation for just 36 people in the unspoiled natural environment of Reserve faunique de Matane. Situated at a height of 615 metres, the Lodge boasts stunning views of the surrounding area, where moose outnumber people! Take full advantage of lodging in a wildlife reserve by trying some of the many activities on offer, safe in the hands of an experienced guide. You can hike, bike, go canyoning or wildlife watching and in the winter try snowshoeing or alpine touring on skis. In the evening relax and take in the views while the chef makes a gourmet dinner for you in the window lined dining room.

To get to the Lodge you need to make your way to the seaside reception office in Cap-Chat and staff will take you the rest of the way on an hour long transfer.

Rooms

The 18 rooms each have 2 single beds or 1 king-size bed and a complete bathroom. The Lodge provides bathrobes, linens, towels, biodegradable soap and shampoo, and a hair dryer. There are no televisions or phones in the rooms but a telephone line and an Internet station are available to Lodge customers.
