Blue Water Acres Resort is located on the Lake of Bays, between Huntsville and Algonquin Park, just 2.5 hours north of Toronto. Here you will find a family-friendly simple cottage accommodation with convenience store, restaurant and many activities, plus daily 2-hour supervised kids programs during July and August. The gentle sandy beach, paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats, water skiing and tubing; horse riding, racquet sports, hiking, biking, plus indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool and games room provide hours of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Float plane rides, golf and wildlife viewing are nearby.

Rooms

The resort features traditional private and lake view cottages that have been part of Blue Waters since the early to mid 1980’s. They are cozy cottages with wood decks, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable furnishings, four piece bathrooms, wood burning fireplaces and electric heating throughout. The resort also offers four brand new, luxury cottages built in 2007-08. These cottages feature high quality Canadiana furnishings, Beauty Rest mattresses, in floor bathroom heating, flat panel TV’s in the living room and master bedroom, gas fireplaces and BBQ’s, dishwashers and much more. These cottages are larger than the tradition models, availability is limited.
