The Algonquin Cottage Outpost offers 3 fully furnished deluxe solar powered chalet suites with fireplace and deck - located on beautiful Kawawamog (Round) Lake at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park. Each chalet suite features two bedrooms, washroom with hot shower, living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, deck with BBQ.
This is authentic dog sledding. One-hour lesson, hooking up sleds, learning how to harness and a real mush driving your own team. In terms of Snowmobiling, the Ontario Federation Snowmobile trails are located just west of the Park boundary and offer groomed routes that traverse lakes and run through unspoiled winter wonderland. Relax at night in your own private chalet suite. This package is ideal for couples or small groups of friends looking for authentic adventure.

HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED- WHAT KIND OF SHAPE DO YOU NEED TO BE IN
None! The 'Algonquin Dogsled and Snowmobile' is for people at any level of experience. In terms of fitness, Dog sledding is somewhat strenuous and requires participants to be in moderate shape. You will enjoy yourself if you can be active for up to 4 hours at a walking pace.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Each participant will be required to sign and return to Voyageur Quest a release of liability before being allowed to participate in any trip we offer. This document releases Voyageur Quest from liability in the case of accident or injury for any reason.
