Drive to the ferry port and take the crossing to Swartz Bay. Stop off at Butchart Gardens along the 30 minute drive into Victoria.
During your time in Victoria head out on a whale watching tour to see the orca and other marine life. Explore the Inner Harbour – great for lunch. Explore Victoria on foot perhaps visiting the Royal British Columbia Museum with its innovative displays of First Nation and early Canadian artefacts. See the floating homes at Fishermans Wharf.

Drive through Duncan, with its many totems, and Cathedral Grove to Tofino. Stop at Cathedral Grove and take short walk amongst the towering first-growth Douglas Firs.
During your time in Tofino enjoy whale-watching (grey and humpback whales) as well as sea lions and bald eagles, a visit to the Hot Springs and bear watching or some sea kayaking, Take a walk along the boardwalks in the rain forest or along the wonderful beaches and explore the art galleries showing Indian artists at their best.
