Overview
The Sundance Guest Ranch welcomes guests to relax and enjoy the casual ‘western’ way of life. Conveniently located just four hours by car from Vancouver in a beautiful setting overlooking the Thompson River Valley, the family run ranch is home to a herd of over 80 horses. Friendly wranglers lead daily morning and afternoon trail rides catering to all levels of riders, offering a leisurely way to explore this rugged and untouched land.

This ranch stay is best to add to a longer holiday through Western Canada including sometime spent in the wonderful city of Vancouver. You will then drive to Ashcroft (about 4 hours) and arrive at Sundance Guest Ranch.

Sundance Guest Ranch
Located in one of the warmest, sunniest spots in Canada with sweeping, panoramic views of the wide open Thompson River Valley, Sundance Guest Ranch is an amazing spot. The ranch runs a herd of over 100 happy, well-cared-for horses with thousands of acres of spectacular and varied terrain to explore, and the horseback riding is truly wonderful. The riding is for all abilities.
At breakfast, help yourself to the buffet or order the daily special from the grill (specials range from strawberry-topped french toast to eggs benedict). After that, set menus will include anything from classic charcoal-grilled steaks and burgers to sophisticated international cuisine. Vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements will also be well looked after.
The licensed dining room overlooks the pastures where the horses spend the night grazing. Choose some wine and relax as you watch the evening jingle. That’s when the horses run out to our sprawling pastures for the night. Make use of the swimming pool, kids games room, authentic outdoor horseshoe set, walking and hiking trails, a billiards room and a movie lounge or even take a massage.
