Rocky Mountaineer | Journey Through the Clouds Explorer

Holiday Duration: 7 Nights

"The Rocky Mountaineer itself was a wonderful experience"

It was a good idea to book us into the same hotel as the Rocky Mountaineer would use for our break in Vancouver before we joined the train. The Pan Pacific is in an excellent location with the Hop on Hop off ticket office just outside the main entrance. We were able to maximise the short time we had.

The Rocky Mountaineer itself was a wonderful experience, we were made to feel special by the teams on both routes. I would definitely recommend the Gold service, the two-level carriage provided excellent views of the spectacular scenery. We were lucky enough to see several types of bears, moose, a variety of deer, ospreys, and bald eagles.
