You will travel on the famous Rocky Mountaineer as well as visiting Vancouver, Banff and Lake Louise. The Rocky Mountaineer train, designed especially with you in mind, travels through the day and stops for the night and ensuring you don’t miss any of the phenomenal scenery and yet have a comfortable bed for the night.
This Rocky Mountaineer holiday can be started in either Vancouver or Calgary.

- Delicious hot-entree options served in the comfort of your own seat

- Outdoor viewing between coaches
- One night moderate accommodation in Kamloops or Quesnel

A million thank yous for organising such an amazing holiday!!! Every day was a new adventure and we loved every minute of it! Canada and the Canadians were wonderful ! We were also pleased that we went on Gold Leaf....wow!!!! The Seaplane was a fantastic way to finish and we were the envy of many who had NOT included it in their itinerary!!! On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake.

Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today’s highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
