Halifax, with a short flight from London, is the perfect place for a weekend city break. There is lots to see and do and great places to eat and stay. Frontier recommends a boat trip around Halifax harbour, a lobster dinner, the Titanic exhibition at the Maritime Museum and a trip out of town to one of Halifax’s famous landmarks; Peggy’s Cove lighthouse.

"The excursions were also perfect"
I would like to thank whoever put together the itinerary, chose the hotels and wrote the information for us to use en route. Everything was excellent! Each hotel was very good quality, but very different from the others. We saw such a variety of things. Our information led us to places we would never have found without it. The excursions were also perfect (canoeing, whale watching, sea kayaking), each of them very small businesses but with very friendly staff. Everything was very remote, which is what we expected, but we were so glad that we found it and were able to enjoy the essence of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Overall, we couldn't fault anything and we would be very keen to use your services again in the future.

Arrive in Halifax and transfer to your hotel. Spend the next few days discovering this vibrant, waterside city. We recommend a half-day Halifax City Tour to view the city landmarks, including a visit to the Titanic Burial Site. Explore the rugged Atlantic Coastline and embark on a memorable whalewatching cruise. Or simply relax by wandering around the many shops and galleries, and sampling the local fare in the plentiful cafes and restaurants.
Escape the city and take a day trip to the stunning Peggy’s Cove on one of the days.
