Day 1

Calgary to Kananaskis Country

Fly into Calgary, pick up a rental car and drive to Kananaskis (a drive of just over an hour). Kananaskis is on the edge of Banff National Park and offers two great championship golf courses.

Day 2

Mount Lorette Course

Situated in the Kananaskis Valley among boreal forest, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd courses are named for the soaring limestone peaks that serve as their breathtaking backdrop. The courses offer immaculate lush fairways, bent grass greens, over 140 silica sand bunkers, four sets of tee boxes, glacier-fed creeks and ponds, the cascading Kananaskis River and a variety of wildlife. Reopened in 2018 after severe flooding in 2013, these courses will test the very best golfers. After your round, relax at the clubhouse or at your hotel.

Day 3

Mount Kidd Course

Day 4

Kananaskis Country to Kimberley

After breakfast this morning, take a leisurely drive over to Kimberley in British Columbia, via the scenic highway 93. Stop for lunch and maybe a dip in the hot pools in Radium before checking in to your accommodation in Kimberley.

Day 5

Trickle Creek Course

This alpine course with it’s creeks and somewhat tricky greens will prove a challenge for any golfer. Also designed by Les Furber, so your round on Silvertip will have prepared you for another of his courses. Total yardage using the back tees is 6,896.

The 18th is but a 3-wood away from Trickle Creek Lodge where you can visit the 19th hole before enjoying the rest of your night.

Day 6

Kimberley to Panorama

Greywolf Course

An early start this morning, will give you a mid-morning time tee time on the 18 unique and interesting holes of Greywolf Course in Panorama, a 1.5 hour drive from Kimberley. Designed by Canadian Doug Carrick, the spectacular Cliffhnager signature hole has golfers facing an island green perched across the aptly named ‘Hopeful Canyon’ with a cliff on the front left and back of the green.

Day 7

Panorama to Banff

Depart Panorama this morning and take a leisurely drive over to Banff where you will spend the next five nights exploring the Canadian Rockies and its courses.

Day 8

Fairmont Banff Springs Course

Today, play a round at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. Renowned for its panoramic beauty, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada’s Rocky Mountains. Stanley Thompson, Canada’s master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. The course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. In 1989, 9 holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout.

Day 9

Stewart Creek Golf Course

Your golf round today is at Stewart Creek located in Canmore (about a 20 minute drive). Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club is consistently rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest. Few golf courses in North America boast its spectacular combination of setting, extraordinary vistas and naturally sculpted fairways. Enjoy your round and return to Banff for your overnight.

Day 10

Silvertip Course

Today, your golfing begins and what a course to start with! Silvertip is one of the most gorgeous courses you will ever see and the only one in the Rockies that is located on the south side of the Rockies, meaning long summer days for playing on. The par-72 course has 600 feet of elevation change and championship tees with a slope rating of 153 and a playable course length between 5,100 to 7,200 yards.  With the mountain air your ball will fly further than you thought possible!

Day 11

Banff

Enjoy a free day in Banff. You may wish to golf another round, visit the Banff Gondola, the Upper Hot Springs, Lake Louise or just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 12

Banff to Calgary

Departing Banff, travel through the foothills of the Rockies to the city of Calgary. Your golfing holiday ends with the return of the rental vehicle to Calgary before your overnight flight home.
