From the Rockies to the Pacific | Fly drive & Rocky Mountaineer

Holiday Duration: 15 Nights

"...the trip was everything we wanted and more!"

I had been meaning to drop you a note to say a huge thank you for all your help! The holiday was fantastic, we had an amazing time. I am very grateful to you for your advice and patience at the booking stage (assisting with my many changing flight requests), and for your support you gave during our holiday with the queries we had. You were amazing, the service you provided was fantastic and I absolutely will be recommending Frontier travel and yourself in particular to anyone looking to book a holiday. Thanks again, the trip was everything we wanted and more!

Overview

Overview

Combine the glorious Canadian Rockies with the wildlife abundant rainforest on the Pacific Coast of Vancouver Island.  This itinerary gives you the freedom of driving yourself around, combined with the superb Rocky Mountaineer train journey taking you from the Rockies over to Vancouver at a more leisurely pace, where you can sit back and enjoy the scenery and generally be pampered for 2 days.

Stay in the beautiful town of Banff,  then head over into British Columbia for a few nights at the lovely Emerald Lake.  Next, head back into Alberta and drive up the simply stunning Icefields Parkway to Jasper (one the most beautiful drives in Canada). Take the Rocky Mountaineer train to Vancouver then, after a few nights here, head over to Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island where you can see whales and bears.  Finally head down to Victoria before taking the ferry back to the mainland for your flight home.  This itinerary is incredibly popular and will leave you with fantastic memories of your holiday to Canada.

This itinerary is flexible and can be tailor-made to suit you; if you want to add extra days in one area, extend the holiday or maybe change the direction of travel. Talk to one of our experts about how to make this holiday the perfect one for you
