Battle Harbour & Great Northern Peninsula | Newfoundland & Labrador Escorted Holiday

Holiday Duration: 11 Nights

"We had, as I now say, an awesome time!"

I just wanted to thank you for organizing such a brilliant holiday. Everything worked like clockwork and all our accommodation was brilliant. We really loved the variety of the accommodation and the places we stayed. We had, as I now say, an awesome time!

Battle Harbour & Great Northern Peninsula

Battle Harbour & Great Northern Peninsula

Journey back in time on this unforgettable tour featuring Battle Harbour — a beautifully restored 19th-century fishing village set on a small island in the Labrador Sea. Once known as the unofficial capital of Labrador and the salt fish capital of the world, Battle Harbour offers a rare glimpse into the past. Remote, authentic, and truly one-of-a-kind, this national historic district invites you to stay two nights and experience life as it once was.

Your adventure continues on Newfoundland & Labrador’s Great Northern Peninsula, where you’ll explore three remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Gros Morne National Park, Red Bay, and L’Anse aux Meadows. Along the way, take in breathtaking coastal scenery — and keep your eyes open for a moose or two!

Please Note: This tour requires moderate levels of activity. You should be able to walk unassisted on uneven ground and for several kilometers and be able to climb and descend flights of stairs.

"We had a very good holiday and it all went to plan"

We had a very good holiday and it all went to plan. I particularly appreciated your quick responses during the planning process and also when we had a query while we were there. You provided useful knowledge about the area and your approach was always professional and friendly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Frontier Canada to friends and family and, as you are aware, are already considering booking with you again for next year.
