Overview
This holiday is the best way to see Alaska by rail. Travel aboard the luxurious Alaska railroad in their glass-domed railcars for the best views of the Last Frontier and its wildlife on the way to Fairbanks.
You will be able to enjoy Alaska’s spectacular scenery as well as exploring the national parks and great rivers. There are two main routes covering Anchorage, Seward and Denali National Park where you can view Denali, North America’s tallest mountain.
You will travel in Goldstar where you will appreciate the carriages’ large wrap around windows and glass domed ceilings designed to maximise the stunning views. The dining areas are situated on the lower levels and the Dome cars also include an open air observation platform.

We have just returned from our week in Nova Scotia and wanted to thank you for organising it all. Both hotels were excellent, the Halliburton was very well placed in the city and their restaurant is really excellent. The Hotel Atlantica's cottage was just what we wanted, by the sea and equipped with all we needed and quiet. We explored lots of that south coast with a quick trip to the north but more to see next time! Your printed driving instructions were a GREAT help, not something we have been given before and greatly appreciated them.
