Upon arrival at Calgary, pick up a rental car and drive to Canmore (a drive of less than an hour). Canmore is on the edge of Banff National Park and offers two great championship golf courses.

Today, your golfing begins and what a course to start with! Silvertip is one of the most gorgeous courses you will ever see and the only one in the Rockies that is located on the south side of the Rockies, meaning long summer days for playing on.The par-72 course has 600 feet of elevation change and championship tees with a slope rating of 153 and a playable course length between 5,100 to 7,200 yards.

Situated in the Kananaskis Valley among boreal forest, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd courses are named for the soaring limestone peaks that serve as their breathtaking backdrop. Trickle Creek Course
This alpine course with it's creeks and somewhat tricky greens will prove a challenge for any golfer. Also designed by Les Furber, so your round on Silvertip will have prepared you for another of his courses. Total yardage using the back tees is 6,896.
The 18th is but a 3-wood away from Trickle Creek Lodge where you can visit the 19th hole before enjoying the rest of your night.
kimberley to Panorama
An early start this morning, will give you a mid-morning time tee time on the 18 unique and interesting holes of Greywolf Course in Panorama, a 1.5 hour drive from Kimberley. Designed by Canadian Doug Carrick, the spectacular Cliffhnager signature hole has golfers facing an island green perched across the aptly named 'Hopeful Canyon' with a cliff on the front left and back of the green.
Depart early from Panorama this morning and you can be in Banff for mid-morning or lunch time so you can tee off early afternoon.

Today, play a round at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. Renowned for its panoramic beauty, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains. Stanley Thompson, Canada's master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. The course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. In 1989, 9 holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout.Close
