Algonquin Canoe Adventure, Ontario Canoe, Cabin & Camping

4 nights

This 5-day Algonquin Park canoe and camping adventure features a mixture of a canoe trip and log cabin adventure. This trip is great for those people who would like to experience canoeing and camping in Algonquin Park but also have a little bit of log cabin comfort. This also makes a brilliant family adventure; please ask your Frontier Canada travel consultant for details

The 3 day/2-night canoeing part of the holiday presents excellent opportunities to see moose or hear wolves while the 2 days/2 nights at the Algonquin Log Cabin offer great hiking and back-country comfort.

The Algonquin Canoe Adventure is for people at any level of experience. The pace is very relaxed, as the trip objective is to have fun, slow down and leave plenty of time to explore the beauty of Algonquin Park.

Mrs. Bennett

The holiday was well organised and both canoeing and lodge guides were excellent, well informed, friendly and confidence-inspiring. The scenery on the lakes was truly beautiful and it isn't possible to get such a breadth of experience of it from the land, so canoeing was perfect. You don't have to be super fit, but for older trippers or if you have any health problems you could get exhausted. I was, however after a swim in the lake I felt fine and it was all worth it to take up the challenge and win, in your 60s!

Jessica Cattermole

The 5-day family adventure was absolutely amazing. A great mix of 2 days camping and canoeing and 2 nights in the log cabin. All the guides were wonderful, especially at the log cabin. Stephanie, Brent and Joe (the cook) made us so welcome, and it was a very relaxing couple of days following the canoeing!
